Do you know how to love yourself?
When you love and accept yourself, you don’t feel the need to seek approval or recognition from others. There is no need to look outside of yourself because you know who you are on the inside. You can allow yourself to BE. Accepting others allows them to also be who they are!
Learning to accept yourself and BE yourself empowers you to express and share your unique individuality like no one else can.
There is no one better qualified to be you than you!!! Be yourself!

TREAT YOURSELF WITH LOVE!
How do you treat you and your body? When you look at your own reflection, what do you see?
If all we see when we look into the mirror is an ugly face or an ugly body, would we believe others when they say we look beautiful? We see what we have been told to see!!!
The world constantly tells us:
- what beauty is
- how our body shape and size should be
- what sexy is
- what manly is
We live in constant comparison to the images, ideals and beliefs we have bought into.
What is comparison?
Comparison is when you look outside of yourself and compare yourself to someone else. When you compare, you often wish for something other than what you have or who you are.
For example when you are on social media what do you do all the time?
- Compare yourself?
- Make yourself better than others?
- Criticize yourself?
- Criticize others?
- Wanting recognition through likes?
Or when you’re out with friends what happens?
- Do you compare how you look to other people?
- Are there people you really look up to? Why? Is it their looks, behaviours, what is it that you like about them?
- Do you make yourself less than them?
- Are there people you don’t like and put down to make yourself feel better?
First Steps to Self-Love:
Instead of comparing, judging and criticising yourself or others try appreciation and acceptance and feel inspired by each other.
We can start by building a safe space within ourselves, finding the parts we like about ourselves, appreciating and loving those parts.
Of course, self-love doesn’t get build over night, but appreciating yourself is a great start!
